RYLA Students (l to r) Melody Brown, Cameron Derrick, and Mary Hooton received certificates from our RYLA coordinators, Cynthia Gregory and Jay Givens, at the Tuesday meeting of the Plainview Rotary Club.
RYLA Students boats: One of the big adventures of the week at RYLA camp was a competition to build a boat from cardboard and duct tape to see how long it would float. Our RYLA campers, (l to r) Cameron Derrick, Melody Brown, and Mary Hooton didn't brag too much about the success of their teams' boat, but fun was had by all.
Our three RYLA students, Melody Brown, Cameron Derrick, and Mary Hooton, gave us a report on the many adventures they had at the Rotary Youth Leadership Award camp. The Club presented them with certificates of achievement. The young ladies said they were inspired to start an Interact Club in Plainview.
