Get a  good start on your Christmas shopping. Plainview Rotary's 42nd Annual Running Water Draw Arts & Crafts Festival is October 14-16 at the Ollie Liner Center in Plainview (2 miles south on I-27 Business). The festival is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
 
Running Water Draw Arts & Crafts Festival has been a favorite show for 42 consecutive years. This year promises to be a bigger and better show filled with fun, excitement, and treasures for every occasion. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
 
Items for sale will include handmade wood crafts, sterling silver jewelry, T-shirts, handbags, Pampered Chef, board games, candle warmers, photography, dog coats, doggie sunglasses and accessories, ladies jackets, fall and Christmas wreaths and decorations, wind chimes, wood signs, decorative tiles, sand art, baby dolls, pottery, Watkins products, skin care products, clothing, tote bags, aprons, diaper bags, gemstone jewelry, fleece blankets, purses, gift sets, belts, buckles, metal crafts, lighted decorations, handmade women’s clothing, quilts, Christmas stockings, orthotics, barbed wire metal art, oils, watercolors and pencils painting, leather garments, butterfly hairclips, and many other items.
 
There will also be gourmet food booths scattered throughout the show with baked goods, beef jerky, handmade candies, dried soup mixes and gift baskets.
 
The Plainview 4-H Club will operate the concession stand this year. They will also be collecting canned goods for F.I.S.H. (Faith in Sharing House). Please help them in this project.
